Client

ZogSports is a charity-focused, co-ed, social sports club that promotes
social action among young professionals in New York (Manhattan,
Brooklyn, Queens).  ZogSports organizes intramural sports leagues,
fitness programs, trips, classes, clinics, social events and volunteer
opportunities for young professionals. ZogSports donates a portion of
all proceeds to charity and helps participants "Play For Your Cause"
through charitable donations to winning teams’ or groups charities of
choice. In five years, ZogSports has over 60,000 people participating
in their activities and has donated over $550,000 to charity.

Objective

ZogSports approached E3Sports with an interest in developing unique
exercise classes for their clientele.  They wanted a program that would
be accessible to individuals of all fitness levels, dynamic and social,
and most importantly safe and fun.

Result

E3Sports was chosen to create and teach fitness a custom designed class
entitled the “PowerHour” for ZogSports members because of its unique
program design, highly energetic trainers and community approach to
fitness. The class blends five forms of E3Sports training into a 60
minute fun-filled, social workout.  E3Sports professionally certified
Performance Trainers lead each participant through their five
principles of lifestyle behavior modification: Prepare, Focus, Change,
Work, and Rest.  As ability levels evolve, so does the workout, and the
trainers change up each individual’s level of difficulty as he or she
grows stronger. Using a proprietary approach to training which involves
medicine balls, resistance bands, ropes, dowels, and agility ladders,
the trainers focus on technique, proper breathing, and postural
awareness.  All planes of movement are mixed with full body exercises
to help participants to efficiently burn calories through a series of
circuits that incorporate power, speed, work capacity, and strength.
