Jennifer Johnston-KirkMovement Consultant |
Jennifer Johnston-Kirk joins the E3Sports Team as a Movement Consultant specializing in running, biking and swimming. Jen began her long and fruitful career as a competitive middle and long-distance runner in highschool and continued to run through her college years. In 2004, she finally obtained her Bachelors Degree in Science and Nursing from Villanova University.
In 2008, after being a spectator at the Ironman Lake Placid, Jen added cycling and swimming to her training regimen and placed third in her age group in her first half Ironman triathlon of that same year. Since then Jen has been racing competitively in triathlons and duathlons, specializing in Olympic and half Ironman-distance races. She consistently places in the top five in her age group, facing increasingly competitive race fields.
A recent transplant to New York City, Jen raced with the Philadelphia Tri Club when living in Pennsylvania. Since arriving in Manhattan, she has been training independently, taking advantage of the roads and trails in Central Park and swimming in pools across the city. Jen is also an active member of New York Road Runners. When not training or racing, Jen supervises a team of nurses who work with chronically and terminally ill patients.
