E3Sports and ZogSports Offer New Fitness Classes
Sports Conditioning & Sport Specific Training Now Available
New York, NY – January 2010 -- E3Sports has partnered with ZogSports to offer new adult fitness classes for general sports conditioning and sport specific training for their extensive young urban professional membership. The three new classes entitled “Sports Conditioning”, “Soccer Conditioning and Skills”, and “Football Conditioning and Skills” will take place on Sunday afternoons during the first quarter of 2010 at JHS 22. And, for the first time, two free classes will be offered on January 24 and January 31 for anyone to try (see below to sign-up). A percentage of all ZogSports and E3Sports profits from the class will be donated to charity.
“ZogSports is excited to continue our partnership with E3Sports and to offer these unique sports-specific fitness classes to our participants for the first time,” commented ZogSports Founder and CEO, Robert Herzog. “We look forward to working with E3Sports, the leading New York-based sports performance company, to bring their revolutionary sports training techniques to our members.”
The three key building blocks to the E3Sports program design are stability, strength and power. These classes with help participants create a stable foundation to become more toned, add musculature, and improve agility and speed when involved in sport. Injury potential will decrease dramatically as performance is enhanced by taking part in these unique sports conditioning sessions. Movement skills and drills that use footballs and soccer balls will be a fun addition to the boot camp style workout.
“We are thrilled to again be working with ZogSports, the premier co-ed sports social club in the New York Area” commented E3Sports Co-Founders Andrei Lloyd and Andrew FitzGerald. “To have a chance to develop sports conditioning and sports-specific classes for their membership is a wonderful opportunity.”
E3Sports has developed a proprietary approach to training which involves using medicine balls, resistance bands, ropes, dowels, and agility ladders, along with a focus on technique, proper breathing, and postural awareness. All planes of movement are mixed with full body exercises to make for a challenging, but practical workout for all levels of participants. E3Sports Performance Trainers will help participants to efficiently burn calories through a series of circuits that incorporate power, speed, work capacity, and strength all while improving their ability to play specific sports.
